it is usually in the other guy's favor, whether I'm buying or selling. That's why I often feel like the universal fall guy, and why I lost on 9 straight match plays with last year's POV driving all over the valley.
At Caesars Indiana I even had the pit boss ASK ME if I wanted a sandwich and drink comped at their snack bar after he watched me lose $200 in about 30 minutes of $10 bets at the crap table. It didn't matter whether I bet right or wrong, I always lost.
Or, when I played last January at the Aladdin and lost $100 in straight pulls on a 25c machine. Never even got a freakin' cherry.
When I'm hot I'm barely breakin' even, and when I'm cold I'm frozen solid.
The only time I do even moderately well (which to me is losing at the expected theoretical rate) is betting $20 a hand on mini-bac. When I bet black chips the house advantage goes from 1.2% to 50% on the bank bet.
But...... Who's Complaining?
