I would suggest you at least inform them that you had this problem. The discolored postage label certainly suggests that the problem occurred with the USPS. They probably won't compensate you, but there may be a problem they are unaware of. It could help somebody else in the future.

The burden of insuring shipping goes to the seller not the buyer. But in this particular care, I am not sure what more Kenny could have done. The way he packaged the chips is pretty standard, and chips travel safely that way all the time.

Maybe your chips were next to that lost Mission Impossible tape that self destructed.
