Is the blue background something that you can control ... or do all scans look that way?
In other words, can you scan with a white background if you wanted to?
I have a Cannon LiDE scanner and I'm unable to scan with a white background for example. All my scans have a gray background. Cannon techs have all told me that the LiDE scanners are intended primarily for documents and not 3-d objects such as chips, so I have to resort to cropping with a circular "cookie-cutter" tool in my imaging software program after scanning for a white background result.
