Provenance has been switched to Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, for inclusion with delivery of "Columbine" as the Eisenhower Presidential aircraft.

I recall hearing about these chips some years ago (I can't recall who or the thread) that yes they were orded by Lockheed and intended to be on the aircraft when delivered, a higher level management decission pulled them from the aircraft and they were not "Presidential".

Still, very interesting chips, nice looking Small Crowns and I would love a set (one of each chip) and I tend agree with your estimate.
