Not quite that simple. It needs to be (usually) in the manufacturer's original packaging, and not in the same locked case as the weapon, although it may be in the same suitcase.

And remember, this is CHECKED baggage. Airport security (which is kind of an oxymoron anyway) these days is more of a "feelgood" tactic. But that's a whole different issue.....
