It seems like we are heading for a world where brainless morons morosely sit in front of the idiot box watching a never ending parade of top this reality shows, brain-dead celebrity hype hoopla and slanted partisan positions presented as "news" by classless over-the-top hacks from ALL sides of the aisle.

I am sick of it all too.

When was the last time Hollywood made a movie that made you say "WOW"? It is all mindless remakes and remake sequels lately. Have all the good stories been told?

I feel like we are in an age where few too many people want to be intellectually challenged. We just want to be entertained, even if it IS crap.
Lets just unplug our brains and watch.

What a shame.

For my part, I am down to some PBS, a couple of Food Network shows and the occassional ball game.

I dunno, maybe I am just getting older and cranky,
but I look at what passes for culture today and I am embarassed.
