As someone who has never visited Vegas i have to agree that destroying all the old Vegas is heartbreaking to me. I love looking at the old pictures of the casino's that have gone. But never will i be able to look round the Sands, Dunes, Hacienda, Mint, Pioneer, Landmark, Stardust et al.

Maybe one day the nostalgia bug will bite Vegas and they may recreate some of these for us who could not experience them first time round. Until then i just hope there is some of the ol Vegas still there when i finally make it into town.
