Cause, it's sounded offensive. The world is what you see it. The fact that someone showed me how to pop a lock doesn't change that. If you live your life behind a locked door, hoping that a three inch metal rod is going to save your life or possessions, then yes, this story is scary.
Teenagers, thieves, and the like, don't need this item to get in your house. There are a million ways. Now there are a million and one. So nest the lock people will come up with a million and two ways to secure your needful things. then the crooks will come up will one million and two ways to break in and so forth.
This hasn't shown anyone anything. Making that key....actually getting the key right, is the hard thing, but it doesn't matter. If they want in, they will get in. There is nothing I have that I cannot replace. I would rather live with my doors unlocked and allow the world to come in than to hide in the dark with a shotgun over my 'prize possession.'
