I can't help on the three days prior to the cruise (I'd love to go too, but I'll be working a race in San Antonio on the 25th) but for the day after, I'd suggest South Beach. A bunch of us stayed in that area the day before the first Chippers Cruise. It's a pretty cool area -- restaurants, boutiques, booze and plenty of beach.
