I can get what I think is a first edition $100.00 Tropicana chip. It's green with a crown mold and is in as he says "mint" condition. BUT, the catch is...it is mounted in a money clip. I was told that they were given away to the high rollers as a promo. I don't have a pic of it because it's from another site but it does look in "mint" condition. What is the genral protacal of this...do I try and pry it from the clip to maybe improve the value of the chip? It's got a green metal band around it. Could it be also glued onto the clip? Or, do I leave as is and how much does the overall value drop by being in a clip instead of a single chip? Thanks for any help and the cost of the clip is $75.00 which I'm hoping is a good price.
