Got this at a recent chip show for my Paul-son metal inlay collection. I had not seen one before. Listed in both Nevada guides, but as a "*" value in TCR. I would value it as a low "Z".
There is a light colored stripe on both sides on the anodized inlay. At first it looks like a scratch, but continues through the raised denomination. Apparently an artifact from the blue-anodize process, but I can't think of what would cause it unless there was some foreign matter on the aluminum that insulated it during the anodizing. Anyone have another idea?
