our own opinions and discuss them freely? (Rhetorical question.)
I am not saying that what the Club did with Larry was right or wrong, but it has no bearing on the current situation for several reasons.
First of all, as an element of a following memebership termination, the Club found that it was necessary to have a Form Complaint in-hand. Otherwise the leadership could operate in a Hooverish manner, i.e., lauch investigations at their whim. Something I would certainly not like for the Club to be able to do.
Secondly, the Club, in recognition of past issues has formalized the Complaint process, which is "due process" based.
BTW-I never made a commentary about giving "due process" to someone beyond the reach of the Club's powers, so I cannot asnwer that question.
It is unfortunate that you have to work under such a strain. I am gratefull that my employer needs to have a reason. I may not like it, but they do need a reason.
