I talked with my Mother today and she recalls that the Paddock Tavern was in an all Black neighborhood, which is likely the case of the Prevue Lounge.

She said she knew the two brothers of the Two Brothers Tavern. It was located several doors down from the hotel property my Grandfather owned, and there was an alleyway that separated them. However, my Grandfather's property bordered the alley and the Two Brothers Tavern had a storefront between them and the alley. This positioning meant that the alleyway was under the influence and control of my Grandfather.

On one occassion my Father, who was then courting my Mother, got into a fight with the brothers when he encountered them on his future Father-in-Laws turf, i.e., in the alley!
