I arrive in Las Vegas on the Saturday or Sunday before the convention and stay until the Monday or Tuesday after.

On my first convention I stayed at Lady Luck, took the bus everywhere and had a GREAT time!

Since then I've rented a car each time and have gone chipping from Laughlin to Mesquite, Pahrump to Primm and everywhere in between.

During the last convention Harrah's ran a promotion that if you visited three of their properties you received a $10 food comp and if you visited all six, you got a additional $20 for a total $30! This was in addition to prizes won by just swiping your Total rewards card. There were three in our group that did this for several days and together we accumulated over $400 in food comps! We ate free for the entire trip!

There's lots to see and do that doesn't involve casinos like Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Mt. Charleston, Hoover Dam, and so on... No matter how long I stay, I never have enough time!
