Why would it matter if they or they don't, these aren't club sanctioned shows. These other shows have absolutely nothing to do with the club. Now if you would instead say it would be a bonus if a BOD member were at other chip shows for some reasons (state the reasons) that would have merit.

You stated that it is "not everybody, just some" Is it your position that ALL BOD members should, or must attend these two other non club-related shows" Would this be part of their official Club obligations? Would this be a change that you will strive to bring about if you are elected?
