I assume you meant the X mold. It would not be a die.
In my mold file, I have a note saying, it was also distributed by Rigdon in Cincinnati. I believe I saw that info on some of the Burt records. It's been several years since Mark & I was at Marion Co in FL, but I think I remember the X mold coming up in conversation there. Since he bought Rigdon out, he might have confirmed that info also.
There was a big crossover of molds and distributors over the years. If a distributor had an order and no chips on hand to hot stamp, he would call another distributor and get them quicker than Burt or USPC could run them. You can see this in the Taylor and O'Neil records. Other distributors are mentioned on a number of records.
It also looks like the other distributor hot stamped and shipped some orders for the distributor that actually had the order.
IMO O'Neil shipped more Ewing molds and TR King molds than cord molds. Taylor and O'Neil were also involved in crossover deals. I've also seen Taylor and Ryan on records.
I believe all of the above mention distributors sold the DiSq mold at one time or another.
