I don't know either one of you personally but you are obviously very caring people. The Shoop family went thru much and now, Von, it's your turn.

This is life, dying is part of living. I went thru it with my Dad...He walked 7 miles a day and two weeks later couldn't make it to the bathroom on his own. So sad to watch.

I assume you are going thru the same thing but I hope you had some great conversations. It is a time for remembering. A time to say, "Dad, Thank You for everything." I hope you got to talk a lot before he gets to the point where he can't or couldn't.

It is the toughest thing you will ever do in your life.

Then, the day came when the cancer was so bad they sedated him because of the pain. Our last hug was so special and then just wait for the end.
