It is hard to guessimate value without knowing the number out there.
If, and it is a big if, the number sold so far is all he had then he screwed himself by not being more forthcoming.
If there are only 50 or so of each, then they are worth at least $300 apiece and everyone got a bargain including whoever paid the most.
If there is another 50 or so of each out there, then everyone did OK. If there are as many out there as Gene said, then we all overpaid.
BTW, in the very begining I and another collector offer him $2,000 for 2 $25s and 2 $100s, based upon him telling me that he had only "a few" of each. He refused the deal. Go figure. Sure glad he was greedy.
