I think Adobe is going to say that its time to think about another operating system. They dont want to be in the business of backporting their code to an obsolete OS (BTW - Microsoft no longer supports Windows 98).

In about 3 weeks their newest OS is out. it might be a good opportunity if you've been thinking of a new machine to check out something from Dell, HP, Compaq that comes with Vista.

As another possibility, check out Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php). Free software reader for PDF files that should work with 98.
