I think the author was implying that if word got out that Obama attended a school that taught radical Islam, his bid for the Presidency would be finished.
That came from an email that circulated around the internet earlier this month. Alot of it was either not true or distortions. Some of it was accurate. There is proof he was practicing Christianity well before his political career started.
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, and do on the religion issue, but already at this early stage, there are several points about him that trouble me, the first being his admitted use of cocaine. Also, it seemed like as soon as it became apparent the he had some political capital, he got himself on the Foreign Relations Committee and began trying to shore up that weakness in his credentials. It looked to me like he was trying to take a short-cut to a possible nomination. Yes, it was shrewd politically, but it flies in the face of the image his people are putting forward.
Couple that with his lack of experience and middle-ground, under the radar record and it is enough to give me pause. I want to hear ALOT more about him before I come to any conclusions, good or bad.
