...check out the National Automobile Museum. http://www.automuseum.org/ It's a couple of blocks from Harrah's, on Lake St. just exit Siena (used to be the Holiday!) through valet and cross the street. More than a few of the cars Harrah had in his collection and a very nice presentation of the subject. I was lucky enough to see the collection at it's zenith when Bill Harrah was still alive and was very happy that some of the collection has been preserved.

Transcribe some address of your favorite defunct Reno casinos from TCR and hunt them down, the casino district is pretty small so it won't be to difficult to make a walk around the area. Cold town this time of year but warm people, ask the dealers if they ever worked some of the old and bygone joints. I've found folks that worked Nevada Club, Eddie's Fabulous 50's, Onslow, etc.
