At the present time the Un-Official Viewing Site is down, perhaps that is why it is "Un-Official"!
The best way to view OTY contenders is, for right now, as I hope to get the site back up soon, is to:
For Southern Nevada, visit Andy Hughes' most excellent website with this URL: http://www.nevadacasinochips.com/January2006Releases.htm
Revise the URL by changing the Month to see each month in 2006.
For Northern Nevada, visit Larry Hollibaugh's most ezxcellent website at: http://www.renocasinochips.com/new_issues_2006.php
Covering both Southern Nevada and some of Northern Nevada is Tyrus Mulkey's MOST excellent website at: http://www.tyrusrex.com/
Once at the front page:
Once there, click on the "Casino Chips by Issue Date" in the left column.
Enter "1/1/2006" in the After date area and "12/31/2006" in the Before date area.
Be sure and check the "Display Out-of-Stock Items Also" box so you'll see every chip that was released.
For Atlantic City, visit Archie Black's most excellent website, with an area for recent additions, however, use caution as some older chips may be present: http://www.callzia.com/dghome/acchips/recent/index.html
For Indian and Riverboats, explore Greg Susong's most excellent website (ChipGuide). Note, Greg is constantly updating his site, but chips are not dated for release. However, he does maintain a listing of when he makes changes and you may find clues there as to when a chip was issued in 2006. Here is that link: http://www.chipguide.com/cgi-bin/search/search.cgi?id=hotnews
For Silver Strikes (SSOTY) visit the Silver Striker's most excellent website where they maintain a catelogue of released strikes over the years. In 2005/2006 they began recording release dates, so be sure to look for dates below the scans. Here is the link: http://www.silverstrikers.com/Strike %20Online%20Catalog.htm
For tokens (TOTY) I would love to find any scans myself! So if anyone finds any d=for 2006, please let me know!!!
For cards and key (CKOTY) I am not aware of a current resource.
If anyone wishes to post contenders here, please feel free. Von and Chuck have been actively doing so.
