A little more on the subject club. The bar going since 1915 and for years was owned by George Brinkmann. In the mid 1940's the joint was sold to Ed. Kuhlman who ran it into the 1960's. Since it has been the 404 Club under various owners, not without shootings (1992, 1998) and knifings (1991).

They check for weapons at the door, If you dont' have one they supply it. Joint now closed for "remodeling". For sure had a horse book over the years, don't think had chips though.
