Answers found in the book The Education Of A Poker Player by Herbert O. Yardley copyright 1957. I’d heard of this book and found it on eBay paired with The Cincinnati Kid. The seller was Mr. Leonard Schneir and I was transported back in time to the poker tables of Covington, Newport, St. Louis and even WWII Haiphong and Chungking.
