John is right ... Ebay IS a buyers market ... but not because of the rates they charge.

Much of the stuff sold on ebay is stuff that the seller no longer wants (or picked up dirt cheap at a yard sale or flea market or even at the curb) and is happy to get rid of it for whatever price it brings ... regardless of the commission fees Ebay charges.
