That Purple Gang book by Kavieff isn't brand new... a couple years at least. He also wrote a book called "The Violent Years: Prohibition and the Detroit Mob". Got both for Christmas. I'm about 4 chapters into TVY. Interesting read... I haven't been able to find a copy of Unholy Toledo...
