I'm sure President Ford's passing and the fact that it is New Years weekend is the reason we had to postpone our trip to the desert until next week. Motel rooms will be less then half price.

Beautiful pictures Mike, and yes, it is a sad day. I didn't always agree with some of his decisions (such as giving amnesty to the Viet Nam Draft dodgers) but acknowlege he was a good and moral person.
