HUH? HUH? HUH? HUH? HUH? HUH???
Here's a start for you...
The El Rancho Vegas was the first "resort" built on Highway 91, which would later be known as "The Strip". It was built in 1941, and burned to the ground in 1960.
The Last Frontier was the second resort on the strip, opening in 1942. Through the years it's been known as Last Frontier, New Frontier, Frontier Hotel and it's currently the New Frontier (for the second time).
The third resort to open on the strip was the Flamingo. The casino opened at the end of December in 1945 (dang...I can never remember if it was December 24 or December 26!!! ). It was opened by Ben "don't call me Bugsy" Siegel...
That's about all I remember about strip history, Brian, you'd better take it from here!!
