I think the seller would have violated CC>CC Code of Ethics #8 -

"To fulfill all contracts and agreements which I may make, either oral or written; to make prompt payment upon delivery; and to return immediately any item that is not satisfactory. "

One ought not make a deal, deposit the funds and then renege on the offer.

But what do I know, I bet into royal flushes also.
