I tend never to buy a new software release immediately. When XP was released, I stayed with 2000pro until XP Service Pack 2 was released 8 months later.

I did upgrade to IE7 last week. Id had it on beta test for 6 weeks and found it more stable. Not sure I like the overall design but 'tabs' are great. AOL & Netscape have been doing it that way for years.

Of course, beta testing something which you can run alongside the existing software is a whole different ball game to replacing your o/s with no going back
