I also have a small, older coin collection...

...and there is no way I would grade that one as XF. WAY too many contact marks and burrs and digs on it. As has been said, the grading is somewhat relative, and though this condition might be considered XF on an 1800's chip, or even early 1900's chip, I can't imagine that it would be considered XF by any stretch of the imagination for a coin/token on this side of the las half-century.

Just MHO, mind you, but I would expect the seller to make it right, or ding them with a paypal/ebay complaint just on principle.
