I agree that Josh's ad could have been worded much differently.
I fully understood what he was trying to say in the ad but fully understood that others, including new collectors, might be mis-lead.
Jim did not misunderstand the ad.

Here is my problem with that whole deal.
Jim bought the ebay items fully knowing that he was only getting the fantasy chips in it.

He them proceeded sending a registered letter asking for the other chips in the ad that he KNEW were not included in the sale.

Jim then filed a complaint with the CCGTCC because he did not get something that he KNEW he was not getting.

Jim asked for something he KNEW he did not have coming in order to teach someone a lesson. He filed a complaint with the CCGTCC stating he did not get something in an action that he knew he was not entitled to, in order to teach someone a lesson.

I think this whole deal was handled very badly.
If we as a club are setting out to teach people lessons, we are not doing it right. Educate people and trying to teach people lessons (punish them) is two different animals.

Please don't think I am taking up for Josh.
My problems are with the way it was handled.

I did not mention Josh's ad in my questions to Jim. I did not know Josh was going to show the letter.

I think Jim should answer the questions and tell us how he is going to handle future situations on fantasy chips.
