The SS Savannah Sun chips were sold at Bill Aikman's booth in the Gamblers General Store. This was many years ago after he closed his store on Spring Mountain Road. Janice O'Neal was working at the counter and sold me the $1 chip that is in my collection on July 17, 2000.

It is entirely possible that these chips were made for a casino that never opened. The chips, and tokens, then found other uses.
