I believe that I am proposing a new, and potentially helpful input to the "Recruitment" element of this complex issue.
Most certainly not the complete answer, but at least a viable new way forward. However, since only being a member of the for the past 8 years, I may have missed an earlier effort towards appointment of a Recruitment Director, but I'm thinking it is a new option to try.
Perhaps the current Board will pick-up on the suggestion in their next Board meeting, perhaps not. But if elected to the Board, I plan to explore the concept further, but hope that I'll only have to give it my support as it may already be in-place.
But in any event, I welcome and encourage anyone to think (even out-loud) for ways to increase membership. And I will always look for ways to increase the Club's membership both by retention, recruitment of new members and if logistically possible, perhaps re-contacting the roughly 4000
or so that did not go on after initial membership.
