I stayed at the Vacation Village one time, for one night. I might be the only person on the planet to check out of a comped resort room at the new Aladdin into a room at Vacation Village.

The coupon book I got when I checked in had the free spin deal in it, but the grand prize was a reimbursement of your plane ticket, up to $300 if I remember right. I didn't win that.... ....and I bet if you did win a free night in one of their rooms, you'd still have to put up a $40 deposit on the room key! I'm not kidding, the deposit on the room key was more than the cost of the room! And, my room at the Riviera for the convention this year was like what you'd find at a Marriott compared to my room at the Vacation Village. VV was a true dump in every aspect.
