1st I have never bought or sold on ebay.
I do have a couple ebay searches set up that I watch. BUT, I do not have nor have never had, an ebay account.
2nd I don't see anything I can do about strangers mis listing on ebay. I don't see anything anything any one can do about it.
Yes Jodi, ebay does not care. They only want the commisions from sales.
Since you are fairly new on the BB, I will relate a little story.
A few years ago a few BBers started an ebay police action. Travis, Jim Reilly, and a couple others were part of the police action. They emailed sellers mis listing chips. They emailed ebay about mis listed chips. This went on for quite some time. They posted ebay sellers replies and ebay replies here on the BB.
Some sellers did change their mis listed sales.
By far the most of them replied with a not so polite "F**K OFF"
Ebay replies were mostly "we'll look into it" and might as well have been "F**K OFF".
Sorry Jodi, IMO, there is nothing we can do about sellers and their listings and ebay won't.
AND:
I don't personally don't see it as a major problem anyway.
1,000's of new fantasy chips are being produced everyday for the home game market.
IMO it is up to buyers to educate themselves.
IMO it is a NO-WIN fight.
IMO our club should not be the National Police for fantasy chips.
I think it is admirable that you want to start another ebay police action. IMO it will wind up without results same as the last one did.
