When you cut and paste a single line like that, and remove it from its proper context, you are distorting my point. Is it deliberate, or did you just read that single sentence and stop?

I made an extra effort in the post to say that I did not think it was wrong. I never, not once, knocked the "hard-working volunteers", especially because I have been one myself. I don't see where Joe knocked anyone either. All he said was he would pay his own way.

Board members told me the rooms were great. Others told me they weren't. Now I learn that the board and others had comped rooms. Well EXCUSE ME if I suggest there might be a correlation.

Now, respectfully, if you think I am "out of line" or "picking on volunteers", I apologize for the sleight you are perceiving. From my perspective, the comps are relevent to the issue I raised, and I stongly feel that I have a right to raise the issue, even if you and others don't want to hear it. I am a club member and the last time I checked, it was a club, not a dictatorship.
