I had my company Christmas party today at the Syndicate Restaurant in Newport , Ky. The place used to be the old Glenn Schmidts back in the 50s and 60s. I was shoot'n the bull with one of the bar tenders and he came up with a deck of cards that was made when the Syndicate first opened back in the 1990s. he told me when they were cleaning out the basement back then they found a old human jaw bone back by the furnace. I didn't press the point, but why would someone store something like that in the basement? The hourglass chips in the photo are real, the others are chips the restaurant had made up for a display.
