The auction in question does not specifically state that the chip shown is from the Dunes Casino. Any experienced chip collector knows that it is not. Of course, the auction description should state that it is NOT a real casino chip. However, there just isn't any misrepresentation in the auction description. Given this situation, buyers need to ask questions before bidding. The phrase "Buy the book before the chip" comes to mind.
