The implication here is that the Hall of Fame Chairman is not at liberty to function in an independent and autonomous manner (along with the past Hall of Fame members) in operation of the Club's Hall of Fame process. In fact, I suspect that this post will likely draw the ire of those individuals because your suggestion of possible impropriety is casting aspertions upon their collective and individual character, not to mention the character of any current, or future Board members.

I suspect that Archie runs a tight ship and to suggest otherwise implies that we should suspect all our Hall of Fame members.
