"If warranted, the seller's account may be restricted or suspended. If the buyer closes the dispute with this option and the transaction is eligible, then the buyer may file a claim under eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Program, where they may be reimbursed up to $200 (minus a $25 processing cost)."
Jodi WRONG. Operative words..."If Warranted". The seller states the item was as described. eBay states that grading can be one thing to one and one thing to another. They do not reimburse. My claims have been escalated with no results.
Hopefully, you will work for eBay one day and make good on all the claims they have overlooked or made excuses on and for everyone.
The only thing eBay will do is go after someone sending fraudulent emails. I do not agree with you having exhausted all eBay threads, complaints and other avenues they claim to have for the benefit of their members. I have used them…..Again no reimbursement. They do not stir the pot once they have made money off the buy sell process.
On the other hand, they will act more aggressively when PayPal is involved because a credit card can be used and payment challenged. You will notice some PayPal sellers clearly state they will only accept PayPal if it comes from a checking account or account balance. This way their money cannot be taken back by the buyer’s credit card company.
BTW..It was not my intent to get into a debate over this. This Whimp just wanted to let any one know that received a second chance offer on my Bugsy Chip, IT DID NOT COME FROM ME.
Happy Holidays,
Best, Glenn
