Neither of those layouts are like the one in Bennie's original post. The two you posted have the zeros (and the wheel) to the left of the players side (with the dozens, bottom/top, even/odd and red/black bets). Bennie's has the zeros (and the wheel) to the right of the players side.
Like I said elsewhere in the thread, I've never played at a table using a layout like Bennie's.
The only reason for such a layout that I can think of would be where there are layouts on both sides of a single wheel, doubling the playing area. I've seen a double-table wheel, I just can't remember where.
