"I think the concern is that the ad says "$100 SILVER BIRD LAS VEGAS CASINO CHIP" clearly implying that the chip is a casino chip for the Silver Bird."
Yes it does Bryan, and so do hundreds of deceptive ebay auctions for fantasy chips. But "$100 SILVER BIRD LAS VEGAS CASINO CHIP" is ambiguous. All anyone has to do is read the Spragg article and they'd know what they were getting. Buy the book before the chip (or in this case, read the article). If a potential buyer does not do his or her research, whose fault is that? I prefer "jucier" descriptions as well, but that doesn't mean a simple descrip is intentionally deceitful. People need to do their homework. And Borlands are collectible; who is to say that Osbournes are not?
I feel worse for the people who pay 35 bucks apiece for PaulSon gift store chips at the antique malls on Charleston than I do for those who do not do their homework.
