Keep your eyes open at those garage sales!
Couple of guys here in Portland pick up an gnarly lookin' record at a garage sale for six bits. They were music nerds so it was cool. sold it Friday night on eBay for Big $. Turns out it was the only example of this kind of the first album by The Velvet Underground & Nico. You know those guys. Sheesh, I always play it when I head north outta Hawthorne. I like the irony in doing that. Best track is "Waiting For The Man". It's produced by Andy Warhol and the band used to live at his digs, do drugs and have sex with anything with a heartbeat.
