Archie, What your saying is no doubt real world however, it stills leaves Dick's question unanswered. Just because many are doing it, doesn't make it right.

My only concern about the club is on issues of standards and ethics the officers seem reluctant to take a hard stand. Issues like the above come up all the time but seldom is any official action taken. Now, I could be wrong but if I am, questions like Dick's wouldn't keep coming up.

IMHO the club should be (and is, most of the time)a guiding light for its' members. Maybe I am expecting to much.

You have forgotten more than I'll ever know about this great hobby so I'll keep an open mind regarding yours or anyone's response.
