The person I got the Broadway Chips (posted below) from was a salesman for ACE Playing Pieces, of Leeds, England, in the last 1950's and early 1960's.
This style of piece was used in some smaller casinos in the UK (eg Blue Chip, Aberdeen) and across europe. The company was ultimately swallowed up by John Huxley.

These salesmans samples are large (48mm) pieces. Sorry they dont scan well but they are 'new'.
