It takes a good bit of skill to play in BJ tournaments but also a lot of luck. They have a biweekly tournament at Casino Rouge and it was going on the day I was there. I figured I could try it once or twice.

First time I lost on the last card. I had a good hand and would have won if my biggest opponent hadn't hit a hard 12. Of course he had to pull a 9 instead of a 10.

Second entry I won the table and went on to the semi finals. We had about 4 of us with the same money on the last hand. And for the first time I bet last instaed of first. Since most were a few dollars ahead of me and had bet the max I had no choice but to do the same. Unfortunately they all got 20's with a 10 up dealer card. My 15 wasn't looking too good except that it gave me the opportunity to double. Of course I got a 7 instead of a 6 and lost. Oh well maybe next time.
