I do not buy the stories from those who are saying that the altered chips cannot possibly be confused with actual casino chips... Some may not realize that there are lots of people who are not chip collectors but do buy chips as gifts for chip collectors... and why should they question the altered casino chips if they happen to be offered side by side with actual un-altered casino chips from the same casino... I go to a lot of coin/hobby/antique shows and can tell you stories as to what's being peddled out there as the real thing...
