If gaming token collecting is ever to take off, grading is essential. Where grading is important, the entity doing the grading is important. Yes, I think we will eventually have scarce gaming tokens graded and encapsulated.
I can't see the need for it in the area of premium tokens as they are all uncirculated and essentially proof-like. They come out of the machine "slabbed", although they are not hard to remove. Their plastic cocoon protects them from everything but inquisitive fingers (and prints).
