Terry, your same font does not hold water.
It is a common font used by all distributors.
Skey chips hot stamped in Detroit earliest 1937.
Weaves earliest hot stamped mid to late 50's NY.
Later by Penn Speciality, Portland Card Co, and The Poker store in CA.
There is no connection to BC Wills.
When I looked into them 10 years ago, I found evidence they could be from a southern illegal (I don't want to say which southern state in case Von reads this ) and could be a NY illegal.
Allan Myers has other evidence. You can ask him or check the archives as this conversation has been had a number of times on the BB. He was also the 1st person to find them.
I realize some collectors like to put their chips in certain places. Sellers love to put them in Toledo. They sell better with an attributation. I do not stretch facts. They either are or they are not. The weaves are not.
Now I know you are still not convinced and never will be. You want them to be Toledo.
A seller told you they were Toledo.
